This is a great video. Jonathan Franzen also has an essay called “How to Be Alone” that talks about the importance of being alone to being a good reader and writer and not just where to go or how to cope with it. Thanks for posting.

Major sparkles go out to allaboutlemon for posting this, and the great people who made this video! As a homesteader-wanna-be and an introvert in general, people ask me if I’ll be lonely “out there in the wilderness”. I grew up faced with the cultural concept that spending time alone was unhealthy and that I was not ok to prefer books to parties; this video brilliantly and creatively addresses that concept and nudges people to open up within themselves. Kudos!
