Revisited
When I was little, I listened with my Mom 50′s and 60′s Album Collections…They were all downloaded in my brain even when I was just inside her womb, I believe this, haha, so that now when I hear this song – ”I’m so young and you’re so old, this my darling I’ve been told, I don’t care just what they say, coz’ forever I will pray…Oh please stay by me Diana….” Oh, wow! This song would really make my day. It uplifts my spirit too. This song is like a lullaby to me. I just love its lyrics and melody…
Paul Anka, Tom Jones, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Bee Gees, are top albums I listened to the most while growing up usually with my mom. She had collections of them. Although I am a jazz-kind-of-a-hip-hop music lover, I still enjoy listening to them. To me these albums are lovely, classical and immortal…
How about you guys, would you like to share us those top albums you listened too while growing up?

For all people in love… Diana by Paul Anka – allaboutlemon I was suggested this web site by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my problem. You’re wonderful! Thanks! your article about For all people in love… Diana by Paul Anka – allaboutlemonBest Regards Agata
Poor Paul Ankles! He was only 12 years old, and he was madly in love with his 58-year-old babysitter who always locked him in the closet after his parents left. But still, I think it’s a very romantic song and it always makes me cry… : (
LOL, what a very romantic story Mark
Elvis Presley’s “Blue Hawaii” album. Sigh…
every time i come here i am not disappointed. nice post.http://www.acertemail.com
I remember my parents dancing to Fats Domino, and when they did all the stress and arguments dissolved.
Hahaha lovely! Thanks for sharing this
This brought back so many lovely memories… One of my sisters is named Diane and we call her either Di or Diana… Great song.. I think she thinks so too….
Yes and Diana is a very lovely name. Like the late Princess Diana
Absolutely….. xoxoxo
My mother loved all music. As teenagers, we never had to buy Top 40 because my mother was buying it first. She exposed us to jazz, crooners, country, and R&B. I’m still in love with anything by Frank Sinatra. In return, we talked her into some rock and hip hop. Nice Paul Anka pick!
Thanks
And nice to hear about your mom loving all kinds of music. Very cool! I like that.
Ah rather ironic as I spend quite a bit of time on You Tube and listen to the likes of Paul Anka, along with Rick Nelson, Brenda Lee. Then I jump forward and its The Beatles, Bee Gee’s (who I saw in 1968) and jump forward a bit more to The Eagles and Pink Floyd. But like your mum. Throw into the mix its John Denver and James Taylor, then when I really feel out of sorts its Cyndie Lauper and Celine Dion. As you may gather I like lots of different strands of music from Ray Charles to Queen from Cliff Richard to Bon Jovi with Gun n Roses thrown in, but many bands and singers in between, quite a mix.
Thanks for sharing your passion to all kinds of music and I am still smiling up to now because likewise I feel the same as you do. Music for me is the twin or heart of our soul
It is actually according to new discoveries possible to hear when in your mothers womb by playing classicla music and reading to your child it will sooth the child and make the child calmer and more capable with bad situations in life. It is entirely possible that in the back of your mind that remembers these marvelous melodies.
“The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not mov’d with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.”
Shakespear, Lorenzo, Merchant of venice
Thanks Jamie, for sharing your thoughts and this brilliant poem. Awesome!
Tom Jones and Elvis were big in our house
Wow! That’s so comforting to know
Thanks!
