Yes… yes, I think I understand… there’s a powerful truth being taught here. I would explain it this way:
Take Toothsome– please! She’s gorgeous, she’s a genius, she has the #1 rated WP blog, she’s become very wealthy by selling cold coffee and stale donuts at the Lemons R Us Café, she’s the creator of Tooth Of The Day, the world’s most popular comic strip, and she’s a very successful dentist who can easily extract a tooth using only a crowbar and the rusty top of a tuna fish can.
And yet, as we see here, when it comes to Romance, she has to settle for second best. Yes, it’s very sad, but it teaches us an important truth:
No one can have it all, not even the Great & Good & Exalted Toothsome… : P
