I know, I know… I just imagined myself to be there with her… My avatar did a great job! A very proud MOM I really am! <3
Mother is HEAVEN
Subsistence pal. True-hearted
WOMAN… Full of LIFE!
Today is my mom’s birthday. She was already gone but I see and talk to her in my dreams, whenever I seek guidance or some advise. And most often her advises worked on me.
For instance, one of them, like 2 years ago, I noticed a little dark spot on my upper right cheek and it was getting darker and darker. I applied different bleaching products that was prescribed to me by my dermatologist, but none of which ever help to fade away the dark spot. And then one night I dreamed that I was with my mom and she told me the medication that I should used instead. Believe it or not, the result was amazing. It worked!
It really feels good to know that she’s still around whenever I need a mother touch. Yes, I know I am already a mother but it just feels so joyful to have my mother with me even only through my dreams.
A Blessed Birthday
You’ll always be missed and loved
I love you Mamang.

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year-old grandson. The old man’s hands trembled, his eye sight was blurred, and his steps faltered. The family ate together at the table, but the elderly grandfather’s shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled onto the tablecloth. The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the messes.
“We must do something about Father,” said the son. “I’ve had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.”
One evening before dinner, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, “What are you making.”
Just as sweetly, the boy responded, “Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food from when I grow up.” The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.
The words so struck the parents that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done.
That evening, the husband took Grandfather’s hand and gently led him back to the family table. For the remainder of his days, he ate every meal with the family. For some reason, neither the husband nor the wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk was spilled, or the tablecloth was soiled.

You will remember this tale tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now, a year from now.
On a positive note, ponder the following lessons learned:
1. No matter what hap pens and no matter how bad things seem today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
2. You can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles the following things: a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.
3. Regardless of your relationship with your parents, you will miss them when they are gone from your life.
4. Making a “living” is not the same thing as making a “life.”
5. Life sometimes gives you a second chance.
6. You should not go through life with catcher’s mitts on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.
7. If you pursue happiness, it will elude you, but if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work, and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.
8. Whenever you decide something with an open heart, you usually make the right decision.
9. Even when you have pains, you don’t have to be one.
10. Everyday, you should reach out and touch some -one; people love that human touchholding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.
11. You still have a lot to learn!
You should pass this on to everyone you care about!
Today’s Cafe Siesta is to wake up your memories and experience some random flashbacks… by simply closing your eyes :)
This was another mail that I received from a friend of mine… A long one but WELL worth it…. I hope you all enjoy as much as I did.
and he said,
“I hate to admit it but I can remember all of these as I’m sure you will also. I remember these things…but I do it with very fond memories! When life was soooo much easier and slow. ”
Although, I wasn’t born in this era… I find this song very awesome :)
I remember that I loved to play with my walking dolls that were almost as tall as I was… I had plates, cups and saucers made of papers that I created myself.
I enjoyed running around with my siblings… They would bring me with them to a river bank where it was not allowed for children to play. One day they sneaked out and brought me with them, I was only 5 years old back then and when my father found us there, Yay! He scolded the big ones but he spared me… hehehe… Because he believed I was innocent :)
I watched Tom and Jerry, Sesame Street after school. Favorite TV shows and series were Wild Wild West, Different Strokes, Bob Hopes… hmmmm I feel happy already while thinking of those things… I even could smell the donuts that my mom used to bake! Yummmy!
Here are some pictures I was able to scan from one of my old albums… :)
Okay, you can begin now to spend some time to close your eyes and imagine how it was… :) and then you can grab your favorite tea or coffee and savor it and enjoy it to the last drop :)
I love you guys!

Mac Giggles- Mark’s Arm-so-strong and brilliant in Illustration :)
Note: By the way I know this joke is everywhere… but I’m experimenting how I can do it in comic strip, hehehe :)
And I am so proud of my son :)
Here is the video of the fight … Enjoy!
Dorado led his blind owner to safety from the 71st story of the North Tower on 9/11.
Now these guys are learning to help do the same thing!
Lady the dog and her owner 81-year-old Nicholas went missing one day and a week later they were found. Nicholas had died of heart failure, but Lady had stayed by his side until they were found.
Navy seal Jon Tumilson died in Afghanastan. At the memorial service for him his Labrador retriever, Hawkeye, layed next to him the entire time.
This dog was the sole surviving member of a Japanese family. The dog still does not leave the gravesite of his owner, neighbors bring him food and water.
Every day at six o’clock this dog goes by himself to the grave of his owner and stays there all night. He’s been doing it since his death, 6 years ago.
- I reblogged this post because I received 220 views with this post alone this morning and I am happy about it and would like to share it here with you all again… xoxo
