FOR THE PERFECT MARRIAGE
Two times a week we go to a nice restaurant, have a
little beverage, good food and companionship.
She goes on Tuesdays, I go on Fridays.
We also sleep in separate beds.
Hers is in California, and mine is in Texas.
I take my wife everywhere,
but she keeps finding her way back.
I asked my wife where she wanted to go for our anniversary.
“Somewhere I haven’t been in a long time!” she said.
So I suggested the kitchen.
We always hold hands. If I let go, she shops.
She has an electric blender, electric
toaster and electric bread maker.
She said “There are too many gadgets, and no place
to sit down!” So I bought her an electric chair.
My wife told me the car wasn’t running well
because there was water in the carburetor.
I asked where the car was. She told me, “In the lake.”
She got a mud pack and looked great for two days.
Then the mud fell off.
She ran after the garbage truck, yelling, “Am I too late
for the garbage?” The driver said, “No, jump in!”.
Remember: Marriage is the number one cause of divorce.
I married Miss Right. I just didn’t know her
first name was ‘Always’.
I haven’t spoken to my wife in 18 months.
I don’t like to interrupt her.
The last fight was my fault though.
My wife asked, “What’s on the TV?”
I said, “Dust!”.
To those of you who have known this man and watched his T.V. shows, can’t
you just hear him say all of these?
These were the good old days when humor didn’t have to start
with a four letter word.
I love it even though I just read all about him from a mail that I received from a friend.
was just clean and simple fun.
And my friend said that
he always ended his programs with the words,
“And May God Bless”
a big smile on his face.
I am a having a moment recalling my first snow… As you know that Philippines has only 2 seasons… The Wet and The Dry Seasons. So when I was just a little girl, I dreamed to be able to make my own snowman one day…
And then… it happened:
Here I was in my first strolling in the snow… I remember that I really did tumbledown right on the ground… Well it didn’t hurt that much… For me it was an incredible and wonderful experience already! hehehhe
Okay so here I was making my snow-baby

His wife was on a business trip and was planning to meet him there the next day.
When he reached his hotel he decided to send his wife a quick email. Unfortunately,
when typing her address, he missed one letter, and his note was directed instead to
an elderly preacher’s wife whose husband had passed away only the day before.
When the grieving widow checked her email, she took one look at the monitor, let out a piercing scream, and fell to the floor in a dead faint.
At the sound, her family rushed into the room and saw this note on the screen:
Just got checked in.
Everything prepared for your arrival tomorrow.
P.S. Sure is hot down here.
Today’s Cafe Siesta is to wake up your memories and experience some random flashbacks… by simply closing your eyes
This was another mail that I received from a friend of mine… A long one but WELL worth it…. I hope you all enjoy as much as I did.
and he said,
“I hate to admit it but I can remember all of these as I’m sure you will also. I remember these things…but I do it with very fond memories! When life was soooo much easier and slow. ”
Although, I wasn’t born in this era… I find this song very awesome
I remember that I loved to play with my walking dolls that were almost as tall as I was… I had plates, cups and saucers made of papers that I created myself.
I enjoyed running around with my siblings… They would bring me with them to a river bank where it was not allowed for children to play. One day they sneaked out and brought me with them, I was only 5 years old back then and when my father found us there, Yay! He scolded the big ones but he spared me… hehehe… Because he believed I was innocent
I watched Tom and Jerry, Sesame Street after school. Favorite TV shows and series were Wild Wild West, Different Strokes, Bob Hopes… hmmmm I feel happy already while thinking of those things… I even could smell the donuts that my mom used to bake! Yummmy!
Here are some pictures I was able to scan from one of my old albums…
Okay, you can begin now to spend some time to close your eyes and imagine how it was… and then you can grab your favorite tea or coffee and savor it and enjoy it to the last drop
I love you guys!
Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.
If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.
Remember when life’s path is steep to keep your mind even.
I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.
In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
