When Used Against Loved…

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up a stone
and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the
child’s hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.

When the child saw his father…..with painful eyes he asked, ‘Dad when
will my fingers grow back?’

The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it
a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions…….sitting in front of
that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written ‘LOVE YOU DAD’.
The next day that man committed suicide. Anger and Love have no limits;
choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life….. Things are to be
used and people are to be loved, But the problem in today’s world is that,
People are used and things are loved…

During the day, be careful to keep this thought in mind:

“Things are to be used, but People are to be loved …”

Be yourself….

This is the only day we HAVE. Have a nice day.

Watch your thoughts; they become words.

Watch your words; they become actions.

Watch your actions; they become habits.

Watch your habits they become character.

🙂 I know you love this one...

Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

Spread LOVE, and True Joy, Happiness  and Love will always be by your side 🙂

Enjoy, And Have Fun Blogging Everyone!

  1. A thought provoking story. As a teacher I am often reminded of the awesome responsibilities I have to my students. The responsibility to be fair. The responsibility to be firm. The responsibility to be respectful. The responsibility to patient. Only through modeling such behaviors can I expect my students to learn their value.

  2. Ya, I’m with you, I heard stories like this too… It’s really sad…Thanks so much for sharing me your thoughts, I highly appreciate this 🙂 Enjoy your weekend!

  3. The sad thing is that I have heard this same story in real life in the newspapers more than twice now. Different version but same story. This father is depressed at work and decides to commit suicide so when he gets home he beats his wife to death takes his two frightened children locks them in the car and gases them using the hose pipe connected to the exhaust finally he writes a note and hangs himself. The note says ” I couldn’t leave my family to grow without a father so I will now look after them in heaven ” this is why believe religion shouldn’t be taken to the extreme it is good in minute doses but give too much and they become crazy.

  4. Thanks for the reminders. We sometimes take those we love the most for granted.

  5. Beautiful message. In this world we so often forget the most important things in life…thanks for reminding us…<3

  6. Thank you for the like on my blog…I am really enjoying your site…truly unique and beautiful…very good work and so enjoyable.

  7. That made me cry…

  8. That is so true that we need to watch our thoughts. Everything in our lives begins with a thought. Great Post!

  9. moving sad story with an inspiring afterthought! Well done

  10. It’s only a car, it can be repainted. Broken love is not so easily fixed or replaced

  11. Very nice, thanks for inspiration

  12. David M. Green says:

One of the things I’ve learned in the years I’ve studied out both the women’s movement and the men’s movement is that the person who abuses their children the least is the father while the person who abuses their children the most is the mother. Unfortunately our society continues to deny this fact so that many innocent children are forced to live with their abusers while denied the love and care of their father.

  13. What a sad, but important story. Words to remember.

  14. Sweet Jesus, I cried while reading this….I am at a loss for words…..makes me wonder how many instances there are in the world where anger has stolen a moment of love truth and beauty, and murdered it with unthinking conscience. Oh how we ALL need a wake up call, a reminder that puts things in perspective, once again, for our vulnerable and at times dangerous human condition. Thanks for sharing this with us Dolly.
    much gratitude

    • Your very welcome Celeste… The message in the story is so true and powerful to touch everyone of us… really a wake up call 🙂
