“My light shines on you!”

The sun promises to earth.

“You owe me nothing…”

With a LOVE like that…
The whole world will be brighter,
United…  No WAR!

And this is a related story in this week’s prompt that I have been writing and not yet finish.  You can check it out by clicking the author’s name. Merci! 🙂

A Light In All Darkness

I Love You Forever, Candy

It has been a week that no one was home. They must have gone somewhere so we just spent the days enjoying ourselves. Since we’re all alone in the house, we would just sit around in the garden and talk a lot about my past helping me more to remember the good times we had. Because I’m blind, all I can do is to feel the things that are around me. The dining table is made of smooth glass. The couch and our bed are warm and velvety. Tachi, our dog is so sweet, friendly and furry. He keeps everything in the house just like as I remember them in my memory. But I think it would be much better if I could see these beautiful things around me once again. But what’s done is done and I can’t do anything about it.

  1. this was lovely. like both of these poems:) Wish for a world without war

  2. I love the word choice of ‘promise’. The sun sometimes forgets to keep her promise at night. 😛 I guess everyone needs a break. May the light shine on us until the end of time! Thanks for contributing with this cute, short poem. Splendid work.

    • You’re right we need a break too but the sun knows that it’s our mother Moon’s turn to give us light at night

Thanks so much dear Ermisenda for your kind words 🙂 I am truly honored with your very supportive comment.

  3. Wonderful, Dolly…. Like Sarah; I’ll second that…! 🙂

  4. Here, here! I second that 🙂
