Meet Diana, my very first pet when I was 6 years old. Actually my parents just told me that it’s mine but of course they’re the ones who took care of Diana.

My mum was the one who named my puppy Diana because she loved the song:

Diana by Paul Anka

One day Diana got sick and then died…  I don’t remember that much of Diana and it was a good thing we had this photo together. I scanned this photo from my baby album and I just fixed it with Photoshop.  It’s one of those valuable memories that should be restored and treasured because you couldn’t go back there anymore in that moment.  But by looking at this photo, it would help me go back there even only with my thoughts and it’s just a wonderful feeling 🙂

After Diana, I never had another pet. And I plan to have one and that would be Hubert, my dream French Bulldog.

  1. Great photo, great song. I think my favorite Paul Anka song is “Put Your Head On My Shoulder, And Put A Donut In My Hand.” : )

  2. Paul Anka’s Diana was a regular request on the infrequent western music radio shows in India. One of the most popular late night programmes was ‘A Date with You.’This was the beginning of the second half of the last century, a few years after independence.

I'm delighted to hear from you :) Merci, beaucoup to all who clicked LIKE...
